Most clients choose to come in once or twice per week, depending on their individual goals and schedules. Since there is no recovery time required, you can neatly fit your appointment in your busy schedule.

These services may be partially covered by physiotherapy benefits, which most health insurance plans cover. How much is determined by the individual plan you have. It’s a good idea to reach out to your insurance provider to see how much physiotherapy coverage you have, and to find out what steps you must take in order to access your benefits.

No doctor’s referral needed. You don’t have to wait weeks or months – you can begin treatments right away.

We cannot treat anyone with a pacemaker, metal hip replacement (titanium is ok), and no metal implants in the treatment area (thighs, groin and buttocks). We also cannot treat anyone who is pregnant, menstruating, or has a copper IUD.

Yes, walk-ins are accepted. We offer fast, simple treatments where you can go right back to your daily life afterwards.

Our facilities are easy to get to, with lots of parking. No stairs or elevators, we are wheelchair accessible.

The Emsella chair is safe as it is Health Canada and FDA approved. There is typically no pain associated with your treatment and there is no anesthetic required. You will experience gradually increasing tingling feeling and muscle contractions. These sensations in the pelvic area are normal and expected. You remain fully clothed during the treatment.

The treatment chair (Emsella) uses HIFEM technology, High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology. It is a strong magnet contracting your pelvic muscles at a rapid rate. During each 28-minute treatment, you will experience approximately 11,200 Kegel contractions.

Treatments are either offered twice per week for 3 weeks or once per week for 6 weeks. Each is just as effective, it just depends on your current pelvic floor strength. We don’t want to over-stimulate the area too quickly.

95% of clients experience an improvement to their conditions and their quality of life. Some clients even report improvements after just one session, though it is recommended to complete a series of six treatments to experience results.

Your treatment provider will discuss your specific treatment needs. Recommended number of treatments is 6. The treatments are 28 minutes per session, and sessions are separated by at least 2 days, depending on your needs. Completing a full treatment series is necessary to maximize treatment efficacy. You may need additional treatments depending on the severity of your condition. The results will typically continue to improve over the next few weeks.

Please wear comfortable clothing, with no metal fasteners or zippers on your pants—no jeans or thick track pants. You cannot wear a Fitbit, smartwatch, or use any electronic devices like a cell phone or tablet while trying out the Emsella chair, or during future treatments. Also, please avoid wearing any incontinence products during any treatment sessions. We do have a washroom onsite, you are more than welcome to change before and after your appointment. We want to maximize your contact with the chair, therefore maximizing the effectiveness of each treatment session.

Many of our clients begin to notice improvements after just one or two sessions. For others, it may take three to five sessions. Everyone has different symptoms of varying degrees.

This is a non-invasive procedure, non-surgical option as there is nothing inserted. You remain fully clothed, in a private room by yourself for each treatment. You simply sit on the Emsella chair for each 28-minute treatment.

Our treatment will help with symptoms of a prolapse, but will not fix the prolapse itself. This will also help prevent a prolapse from happening as well.

Although the treatments chair wasn’t designed to help with Erectile Dysfunction, many clients express that it has helped them with their symptoms of Erectile Dysfunction.
